Your own back office,
set up in your name.
I sit down with you and set up the tools that let a small business run its own estimates, invoices, website and drawings, with today's AI doing the heavy lifting. Your accounts, your subscriptions, your keys. When I leave, it all stays yours.
This is my shop. Every lamp is over something I built. Pick a lamp to go in.
01 · What you end up with
A box with your name on it.
Your accounts, in your name.
Email, domain, website, code and files under accounts you own, secured properly: passkeys, two-factor, recovery you can actually use.
Your own AI seats.
Subscriptions you pay directly to the companies that make them, Claude, ChatGPT or whatever is best when we start. No middleman markup, nothing rented from me.
A back office that keeps a record.
Drafts stay drafts until you approve them. Every estimate, change and sign-off is written down, and you hold that record.
Real tools without the seat fees.
Drawings, simple CAD, renders and a website you can change yourself, built on open tools where they're good enough, and they increasingly are.
Try it at : tell it about your business and approve its draft, one line at a time.
02 · How it runs
Four sittings, in order.
We talk.
You tell me how the business runs today and what eats your evenings. A plain account is enough.
We set it up together, in your name.
Network and accounts secured first, then the workspace and agents. You make every sign-in yourself; I never hold your passwords.
We do a real job on it.
One actual estimate, invoice or drawing from your own work, start to finish, with me beside you.
You run it.
You have the runbook for your setup in plain language. Call me when something new comes along.
03 · Why me
Plain talk, and curiosity.
I've spent my working life making systems hold up when it matters, and explaining them to people who have better things to do. The tools change every month. My job is to try them first, keep what works, and set you up so a change of tool doesn't mean a change of everything. For security engineering, that's my other practice at swosec.com.
04 · On scope
Small on purpose.
One person. A few businesses at a time. I won't sell you software or a subscription to me. If the right answer is a notebook and a phone call, I'll say so.
05 · Correspondence
Tell me about your business.
